We've been asking readers to give us their storm stories from the Blizzard of '78 -- and here we are digging out from under a pile of responses.
It is great to have readers interact with us. I think you'll enjoy reading about babies being born, weddings being performed and lots of digging out in our packages of blizzard stories on Sunday.

I wasn't born yet, like more than a third of Lorain County's population. Can I make up a story about how chilly it was to be a hypothetical future twinkle in my parents' eyes?

Comparing the two local papers articles on the Lorain schools' dress code is to see the difference between positive and negative journalism The Chronicle's article was so positive and uplifting--which is what our community needs. How the Journal's reporter found that one lady with a beef and spent the whole story elaborating on it was ridiculous. Keep making lemondade!
I passed that comment along to Adam Wright, the reporter who covered that story, and this is what he said:
As much as I appreciate that, I really don’t think my story was "positive" – I think it told the true story. It said the school had some problems, and nearly 200 kids from both schools were kept out of class, although the vast majority followed the new dress code. The headline said the day "went off without a hitch," which I don’t necessarily agree with, but I wasn’t responsible for the headline.
